BMF appoints Natya Soodeen to Women in Motorsport post

The Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) has today (June 29) announced the appointment of Natya Soodeen as Chairperson of Women in Motorsport Barbados. A former show-jumper, who has represented Barbados in regional and international events, Natya has turned her passion for competition from one horsepower to another and is now an active member of the island’s motor sport scene.

Barbados Motoring Federation hails Monaco winner Maloney

The Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) has hailed 17-year-old Barbadian driver Zane Maloney’s victory in Sunday’s (May 23) round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine – certified by FIA supporting the Monaco Grand Prix. Having finished second behind his French team-mate Isack Hadjar on Saturday, Maloney led a stunning podium lockout for R-ace GP outfit, with Hadjar second and fellow-countryman Hadrien David third.

Revised dates, web site from Barbados Motoring Federation

The Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) has today (May 12) published a provisional calendar for the rest of 2021 to allow competitors time to prepare, while discussions continue with Government bodies to clarify when spectators might return. Having made practical use of the down time caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, the Federation has developed a new web site, which is also launched today.
