BKA honours its Champions

The Barbados Karting Association’s 2014 Frutee Championship Awards Presentation in January was the first such occasion hosted in the new Bushy Park Barbados Clubhouse.

Nicholas Gill, winner of the Yamaha 310 Premier Class and BKA Champion Driver for 2014, was just one of nearly 40 competitors and volunteers whose achievements or commitment to the sport were recognised, while BKA Chairman Stephen Mayers thanked the Club’s for their continued support.

Other winners were: 125 Shifter - Kevon Griffith; X30 125 - Javani Smith; Yamaha Sportsman 270 - Zane Maloney; Fastest Lap - Tremaine Forde-Catwell; Rookie of the Year - Brian Stuart; Most Improved Driver – Javani Smith
