Top-class T&T trio join record-breaking Radical grid

Trinidad & Tobago’s Zachary Boodram, Fyzool Madan and Ravi Singh will compete in the Radical Caribbean Cup (RCC) for the first time this weekend (October 8/9) as a record-breaking grid assembles for round three at the Fast Parts Caribbean Circuit Racing Invitational. Competing on home ground, they will line up with fellow-countryman and RCC regular Kristian Boodoosingh to face drivers from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica as the regional championship returns to the Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway for the first time since June 2018.

Zane Maloney joins Radical Caribbean Cup in T&T

Zane Maloney, who finished second in the FIA Formula 3 Championship which ended at Monza in Italy two weeks ago, will race at the Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway in Trinidad & Tobago for the first time next month. He will face drivers from his home country Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and the host nation in the third round of the 2022 Radical Caribbean Cup (RCC), which showcases the fastest race cars in the region.

BTMI supports expanded BMF team for FIA Games

Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc (BTMI) has partnered with the Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) to facilitate an expanded presence at the FIA Motorsport Games to be held in France next month. In addition to an entry in Esports, confirmed two weeks ago, the BMF will now also field a driver in Karting, while the two organisations will jointly host a booth in the ASN Village.

Radical Caribbean Cup returns to T&T and Wallerfield

The third round of the 2022 Radical Caribbean Cup (RCC), originally scheduled for Bushy Park Barbados, will now take place at the Frankie Boodram Wallerfield International Raceway in Trinidad & Tobago. To be run over the weekend of October 8/9, it will be organised by the T&T Automobile Sports Association (TTASA), after which the cars will be shipped on to Guyana for the final at South Dakota on November 12/13.

Maloney increases lead in R5 Rally Championship

Stuart Maloney has increased his lead in the R5 Rally Championship presented by First Citizens with a series of strong results as the summer break was followed by four qualifying rounds in quick succession. With three wins and a second-place finish, he has now amassed 208 points after 11 of 15 rounds, giving him a 66-point lead in the standings over the new second-place driver, his brother Mark, who has steadily moved up from fifth over the course of these recent events.

Barbados selects Sealy for FIA Esports Games

Barbados will compete in the second edition of the FIA Motorsport Games to be held in France in October, where up to 80 National Sporting Authorities of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile will be chasing gold, silver and bronze medals. The Barbados Motoring Federation (BMF) confirmed today (Wednesday) that Leon Sealy will represent it in Esports, one of 17 disciplines spanning the motor sport spectrum.

Two wins extend Jeffrey’s Radical Caribbean Cup lead

Guyana’s Kristian Jeffrey has increased his lead in the 2022 Radical Caribbean Cup (RCC) with two more victories in the second round at Bushy Park Barbados on Sunday (August 28). On his first appearance this year, former SR3 Cup Champion Sean Maloney was the other race winner, achieving a family double with son Zane, who had claimed a notable first FIA Formula 3 victory at the iconic Spa circuit in Belgium earlier in the day.
