Team Barbados wins inaugural ROC Caribbean

On a landmark weekend for regional motor sport, in which some of the Caribbean’s best drivers are enjoying a chance to mix with champions from around the world, the home team of Rhett Watson and Dane Skeete won the inaugural ROC Caribbean at Bushy Park Barbados today (Saturday), just hours after fighting their way to a place in the semi-finals of the ROC Nations Cup.

Motor sport legends prepare for the Race Of Champions

Barbados is swarming with legends of motor sport who have arrived on the island ahead of this weekend’s Race Of Champions

Champions and greats from series including F1, Le Mans, IndyCar, NASCAR, WTCC, Touring Cars, World Rallycross and MotoGP put in their first practice laps at Bushy Park Barbados

As they got out of their cars FIA World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg neatly summed it up: “These guys are all as crazy as I am…”

Participants hail broader benefits of Suzuki Rocks

At a function hosted by Suzuki, motor sport champions from race track and rally stage gathered at the Yacht Club at Port St Charles last week to reflect on the Suzuki ROC Barbados Challenge, which selected the two drivers who will represent Team Barbados in the Race Of Champions at Bushy Park next month (December 13/14).
