There will be high octane action and adrenaline both on and off track at next month’s Race Of Champions in Barbados as the FMX4Ever motocross team bring their latest show to the Bushy Park Circuit.
FMX4Ever has a diverse team from all over the world, who between them hold 4 FIM IFMXF World Championship tittles, 3 World Records, 10 X-Games medals and a Red Bull X-Fighters Championship title. Now the FMX4Ever team is heading to ROC 2014 in Barbados to thrill the crowds with their two-wheeled antics.
A line-up featuring Czech rider Martin Koren, British ace Chris Brock (pictured above) plus Belgium’s Gilles Dejong and Ives Baekelandt will fly over a distance of 21m at heights up to 12m as they perform stunning tricks such as tsunami back flips, various combo tricks and huge whips. It’s a sight not to be missed and one that is guaranteed to stay long in the memories of the Barbados spectators.
Koren said: “It’s going to be an exciting event and we are all looking forward to the Race Of Champions crowd. It has been a long year of intense training and travelling – and at this point all the guys are riding at their best so the Barbados fans are in for a special one.”
The show will be part of a busy programme of entertainment that runs alongside the main event, the Race Of Champions itself. This brings together the world’s greatest drivers from motor sport’s major disciplines – including F1, MotoGP, Le Mans, World Rally, IndyCar, NASCAR, Rallycross, Touring Cars, V8 Supercar and the X-Games – and sets them free to battle head-to-head in identical machinery on a unique track with two parallel lanes linked by a crossover bridge. Over the course of the weekend there will be over 60 individual duels between some of the world’s best racers along with even more exciting shows that will be announced in the coming weeks.
ROC organiser Fredrik Johnsson said: “We like to pack in our entertainment at the Race Of Champions and this year is no exception. Just like our unique form of racing on a parallel track, the FMX4Ever Show is a rollercoaster of thrills from start to finish. We can guarantee that anyone coming to watch ROC 2014 at the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados will not go short of speed, action and noise…”
