SKEETE FINISHES SECOND IN RALLY JAMAICA

Roger Skeete made a triumphant return to Petcom Rally Jamaica at the weekend (December 5-7), repeating the podium finish of his last visit in 2003. With co-driver Robert Simmons, he finished second in the Michelin/FB Batteries Subaru Impreza WRC S9, 1 minute and 50 seconds behind Jeffrey Panton, despite a challenging weekend.

DEADLOCK IN BARBADOS RALLY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

The Barbados Rally Club's (BRC) second one-day Tarmac Rally of the year on Sunday (April 27) may break the deadlock at the head of the championship table. With perfect scores from the first two events, three drivers are currently tied on 32 points - Edward Corbin, Sean Gill and Roger Skeete.

SKEETE TAKES SECOND BRC WIN OF THE SEASON

Roger ‘The Sheriff’ Skeete and co-driver Dave Crawford tightened their grip on the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Drivers Championship on Sunday; they followed their win in last month’s Cherry Tree Hill Tarmac Sprint with a dominant performance in the BRC Tarmac Rally, run over 12 stages in the north of the island.

SKEETE THE MAN TO BEAT

Former champion Roger Skeete has started the 2003 motor sport season on top form. He comfortably won the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) opening event of the season, the Tarmac Hill Sprint at Cherry Tree Hill on Sunday (February 9), beating the opposition by the best part of two seconds.
Driving the Texaco/Michelin/McEnearney Quality/Consolidated Finance/Carib Ford Escort WRC, Skeete recorded a time of 1m 24.347s on the last of his three official runs; his closest rival, Paul Bourne, could manage only 1:26.277 in the Banks/Pirelli/Texaco/Williams Industries Subaru Impreza WRC.

Skeete heads entry for Canefield speed event

Reigning Barbados Rally Club (BRC) champion Roger Skeete heads an impressive 32-car entry for Sunday's (April 28) third round of the 2002 Autozone/LAW Motors Championship, at Canefield.
Despite some damage suffered by his Texaco/McEnearny/Pirelli Ford Escort at the Vaucluse Raceway last Sunday, Skeete will face Paul Bourne in the Banks/Texaco/Williams Industries Subaru Impreza WRC and Richard Roett (Michelin/Massco/Esso/Roett's Garage Toyota Celica GT4) for honours in Group Modified 9.

Skeete fights the clock to be ready for Sunday

Reigning Barbados Rally Club (BRC) champion Roger 'The Sheriff' Skeete is fighting time to be ready for the club's second event of the year, this Sunday's (April 7) double-header at Sailor Gully and Pickerings, a joint promotion with the Motoring Club of Barbados Inc.
Since journalists visited the McEnearneys workshop nearly three weeks ago, work has been going steadily. On Tuesday afternoon, Skeete said: "We worked all the holiday weekend and we'll keeping working right through this week.
