A record number of overseas crews are making last-minute preparations for Sunday’s (May 24) LIME King of the Hill, the final shakedown ahead of the Caribbean’s biggest annual motor sport International, Sol Rally Barbados 2015 (May 29-31), at which the Barbados Rally Club is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its premier event.

Confirmation this week that double European Rally Champion, France’s Simon Jean-Joseph, will contest Sol Rally Barbados 2015 (May 29-31) brings to the 25th Anniversary running of the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) premier event a second former WRC competitor who is still very much involved in the sport at the highest level.

Double European Rally Champion, France’s Simon Jean-Joseph, will contest both LIME King of the Hill on Sunday (May 24) and what he describes as “the legendary” Sol Rally Barbados 2015 the following weekend (May 29-31), which marks the 25th Anniversary of the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) premier event.

One of Britain’s leading motor sport insurance specialists, REIS, is joining forces with the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) and long-term local sponsor Chefette Restaurants to offer additional support to the Club’s hundreds of volunteer marshals. This new association will also afford the BRC additional marketing opportunities, particularly in the UK, during the build-up to Sol Rally Barbados 2016.
