More than 250 competitors participated in the broad range of motor sport disciplines organised by the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) in 2024, of whom 23 head into the winter break as Champions, many adding further overall or class titles to their already impressive cvs after the BRC confirmed its annual roll of honour today (Friday).

First MudDogs win for Parravicino in “fantastic” event

Simon Parravicino and Andrew Croney won Sunday’s (September 15) Super S September Safari, an event described as “fantastic” by first-time winner Parravicino. Rain puts the Mud back into MudDogs this Sunday

Recent weather patterns delivering regular heavy rain have created perfect conditions to challenge the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) off-road 4x4 navigational fraternity in Sunday’s (September 15) Super S September Safari. After a three-month summer break, crews are making ready for the fourth of five rounds of the Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship, which will feature the return of the popular Driver Challenges for the first time this year.

September Safari winner praises “Savvy” route-setters

Winner of last Sunday’s (September 17) Savvy on the Bay September Safari, Leslie Alleyne, was full of praise for the route-setters - and the opposition - after crews met for the Prizegiving on Tuesday evening. Alleyne and navigator Chris O’Neal clocked up their third win in the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) 2023 Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship after coming from behind in a tight contest fought out across all but one of the island’s parishes.
